Happy Sunday everyone! This past weekend I spent some time in downtown St. Augustine with my friend (who graciously assisted me with these shots) and I must say I had a great time walking around and popping in and out of cute little shops, boutiques, and thrift stores. I always love when I visiting new shops as you never know what you’ll find. And now I’ve got loads of places to visit next time I go back. I posted a shot of my finds as well as some pretty flowers that I was immediately drawn to. I’ve also listed some of the shops for you guys down below and added links to the ones that I could 🙂
Anyways, this outfit was literally crafted at the last minute as I didn’t feel like wearing the clothes that I bought (I know this has happened to some of you at least once) so my friend, Amelia, let me borrow a pair of shorts as it was literally 100 degrees outside. I don’t normally wear lace or such light shades of white/cream, but for some reason I really liked how these looked on me as they were super comfortable and light. I paired them with my own top from Urban Outfitters by the brand Truly Madly Deeply. This cropped tank is one of my favorites as it has a super cute neckline and can be worn with basically everything. The best part is that it comes in at least five different colors, so I can’t wait to go back for more. To finish off this outfit I wanted something that would tie it together well with my printed sandals which featured all of these colors (sorry I didn’t get a close up of the print), therefore, I chose this maxi cardigan (or as I call it: my cape) to bring in a little of my normal colors (black & white). All in all, this outfit was super casual and breezy. Perfect for a quick lunch as well as venture seeking with some friends.
If you guys noticed, which I’m sure you did, I tried something different with my hair. I wanted to do a half-up hairdo, but I didn’t want to fully commit to a ponytail either so I decided why not a top know. Honestly, it reminds me of Alfalfa from The Little Rascals, but he was adorable so I thought, what the hell let’s give it a try 😉 I have really thick hair so it often gets tough to deal with and style. Do you guys have any hairstyles that you would like to see me try? Leave the suggestions in the comments below or email me!
