Hello everyone! This last week has been a very trying week for me as I’ve had to make some very difficult decisions, and if I have learned anything, I have learned that although you did not achieve what you think you wanted, you will never be left with nothing. As many of you know I am a high school senior and a gymnast and for as long as I can remember I have dreamed of competing at the collegiate level. Recently, I was presented with a few opportunities and had no clue as to what direction to take, but with time I was blessed with clarity and have began my decision process. I cannot wait to embark on this new chapter in my life as new possibilities will surface, in addition to new learning capabilities. I know this sounds super sappy (haha) but I am just so excited and relieved to have finally concluded this crazy search! I just want to share this with you all as I know some of you have felt stuck or confused at some point in your life and I want to ensure you all that things get better. Stay positive and keep pushing because, trust me, you will get there eventually!

Okay, so enough of the emotional stuff as it is time to talk fashion: This past month I have been all over the place in my outfits, either super blocked or running free! So I thought it was time to head back to my roots and go for something that I knew for sure I would enjoy wearing. Today I am wearing a few different prints (although it may not look like it) as I have always been pretty good at mixing prints and making sure they compliment each other… Not to toot my own horn or anything 😉 It may not seem like it, but the base top I am wearing is horizontally striped. I decided it would be cute to layer as it is simple and seems very basic. To add to this, I included these joggers from H&M that have this cute tie dye print. Now it’s time to accessorize!! Lately I’ve been wearing these caged oxfords as they are so different from my normal bits and bobbles. I love that they have a little platform boost for my petite, 5’2, height. And to finish off this uber casual look I wore my chunky silver choker that just happens to match the buckles on my oxfords perfectly! Suffice to say, I love this outfit!

For a little update: I am going to start wearing more Spring/Summer looks as it is getting soooo hot here in Florida (I think it was pushing 90 degrees on Friday). So expect a lot of halter tops, shorts, sandals, and other light flowy attire! What Spring/Summer trends you all would like to see me style?

PS. For those of you avid blog followers: If you’ve got some goodness out of this blog, please share it with anyone you know who’d like a simple take on current trends and weekly fashion inspiration. Either share one of my posts (your favorite or whichever you’d prefer), or send ’em to my website – http://www.navijstyle.wordpress.com (obviously…) where they can sign up to get even more great tips! I would really appreciate it (and I’m pretty sure your friends will too)!

Thank you! Although it isn’t a jumpsuit, they are actually joggers, but it is all the same. 🙂
