I guess Wednesday is just not my day to post! I don’t know what has been going on, but recently Wednesday posts are getting harder and harder to get out. It seems like I’m going to have to draft up at least a week in advance in order to stay on schedule. But anyways, I hope you all have made plans for this weekend as it will be Easter Sunday 🙂 I plan to spend some time with my family and enjoy the big holiday meals! Oh, and to change things up because of this holiday, I will be posting Saturday instead so be sure to stay tuned for that!
On to this outfit: I think it pretty much speaks for itself as Spring and floral prints basically go hand in hand. I’ve chosen this little yellow dress as it was very simple and could either be worn dressed up or dressed down. Naturally this dress is pretty loose since I bought it two sizes up from my normal so I could wear it with different fashions of sorts. This little number really was a good bargain for me as I’ve probably worn it about a thousand times since I bought it. Trust me when I say that this dress isn’t going anywhere. For a casual look I would pair this dress with my leather jacket and my slip-ons, maybe even my leopard printed ones, for a simple, yet whimsical take on things. On the other hand, for a more dressy look I would pair it with my strappy pumps, oversized blazer coat, and jewels for a more fun and dramatic statement. Although I live in Florida and the weather is borderline sweltering, I thought my moderately heavy leather jacket would be a good choice to liven up this dainty and super bright dress. I liked the idea of my faux snakeskin boots with this jacket as it brought this edgy look a little further. Overall this is an outfit I will wear constantly as it is perfect for Spring!Let me know what you think in the comments below!!
